Somalia has signed an agreement with Kenya on the training of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) personnel.
Mohamed S. Nur, the Director of M&E Department at the Ministry of Planning, Investment, and Economic Development, signed the agreement on behalf of Somalia.
Nur had been in Nairobi for a series of meetings over the last few days.
He signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with representatives of the Kenya School of Government and the International Center of Evaluation and Development Studies.
Kenyan officers are to help train their colleagues to improve skills and knowledge of their Somali counterparts.
