Ex-President Accuses NISA of Engaging in Propaganda for Benefit of Terrorists

A former President of Somalia has accused the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) of engaging in propaganda to benefit terrorists.

Ex-President Sharif Sheikh Ahmed made this accusation on April 5.

He spoke a few hours after NISA warned that Al-Shabaab terrorists were planning an attack against President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo and Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble.

Ahmed said that such developments are “quite regrettable.”

In his view, NISA’s activities are proof that Al-Shabaab militants have a foothold inside the agency.
