Former Somalia President Sharif Sheikh Ahmed met with the United Kingdom Ambassador, Mike Nithavrianakis, on Monday at the UK Embassy’s headquarters in Mogadishu.
They held crucial discussions that reportedly focused on several critical issues, including Somalia’s electoral process, political dynamics, relations between the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) and Federal Member States (FMS), and the overall security situation in the country.
