A former President of the Federal Republic of Somalia has accused the current president of driving the country into uncertainty.
Ex-President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud accused President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo of leading the East African nation into a period of great uncertainty.
In Mohamud’s words, the inability to hold timely elections in Somalia is all because of Farmaajo’s lack of good and effective leadership.
Mohamud was speaking in response to the news that the National Consultative Conference on elections failed to produce any deal.
The conference, which was held from February 1-5 in Dhusamareb, ended without any agreement on parliamentary or presidential elections.
Furthermore, with Farmaajo’s term expiring on February 8, ex-President Mohamud believes that Somalia is about to enter unimaginable uncertainty.
