The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) will work together to build a resilient food system in Somalia.
FAO announced that it would work closely with the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation.
In the Friday announcement, FAO confirmed its willingness and commitment to work with other stakeholders too to ensure that the East African nation has resilient food systems.
Furthermore, they will also collaborate in strengthening the agricultural sector.
Somalis made vulnerable by the climate-induced shocks also have a reason to look to the future with hope once FAO and the agriculture ministry embark in this new era of cooperation.
