Somalia will work closely with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) to manage the country’s natural resources sustainably.
This was the agreement that Etienne Peterschmitt and Jama Taqal Abbas reached in their meeting on Tuesday.
Peterschmitt, the FAO Director and Country Representative for Somalia, held discussions on this issue with Haga, the federal Minister of Energy and Water Resources.
They promised to continuously deliver solutions that increase productivity while promoting the sustainable management of natural resources, which include water.
