FAO Forecasts Moderate to Heavy Rains in Somalia in the Next 7 Days

The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) predicts moderate to heavy rains in Somalia within the next seven days.

In its latest weather forecast, FAO says that many areas in the East African nation will experience the rains.

Areas likely to experience at least moderate rains between March 27 and April 2 include Somaliland, Jubbaland, Southwest, HirShabelle, and Galgadud.

However, the FAO forecasts shows a different situation in Puntland. It predicts dry conditions to persist in much of Puntland up to Tuesday next week.
