The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) agreed to wor closely with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) to improve water security in rural Somalia.
FAO and UNICEF signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on this regard on Wednesday.
Somalia’s Ministry of Energy and Water Resources approved the MoU.
FAO and UNICEF’s Water for Life initiative will enhance access to safe, clean, and adequate water for rural population in the country.
