The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) has announced plans to scale up its Drought Response Plan in Somalia.
This was revealed on January 17 during a meeting between Etienne Peterschmitt, FAO Country Director for Somalia, and Mohamed Adan.
The latter is the Minister of Livestock and Forestry within the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS).
FAO intends to work closely with the livestock ministry to save lives and livelihoods.
