President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo has arrived back in Mogadishu after the weeklong Dhusamareb talks collapsed.
Farmaajo landed back in the nation’s capital on the morning of February 6.
He departed Dhusamareb a few hours after the National Consultative Conference on elections ended with no deal agreed.
The talks kicked off on February 1 and were between Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) and Federal Member States (FMS).
There had been plenty of expectation regarding the talks, which were organized to find solutions for the ongoing electoral impasse.
Farmaajo is expected to address members of the Lower House and Upper House in Mogadishu shortly on Saturday.
