President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo joined the horde of people around Somalia commending the recently concluded elections in HirShabelle.
In the elections, Ali Hussein Guudlaawe was elected the new President of HirShabelle.
Farmaajo is not the only political leader who sent congratulatory message to Guudlaawe.
The opposition also joined him in congratulating Guudlaawe for emerging victorious in what would have been fractious elections.
Sharif Sheikh Ahmed and Hassan Sheikh, two of Somalia’s former presidents, also commended Guudlaawe for winning the elections.
Immediate former Prime Minister Hassan Ali Khaire took the opportunity to hail Guudlaawe’s electoral victory.
The leaders also congratulated Yusuf Ahmed Hagar, the new Vice President of HirShabelle.
