Farmaajo Condoles with Victims of Deadly Floods in Sudan

On Monday, President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo of the Federal Government of Somalia condoled with victims of the deadly floods in Sudan.

Farmaajo expressed his message of condolences to Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok of Sudan on September 14.

The floods have killed more than 100 people in Sudan while displacing thousands more around the country.

Weather experts have blamed the floods on rising water levels brought about by the exceedingly heavy rainfalls.

Consequently, the government of Sudan had to declare a state of emergency in the country.

While extending condolences to Prime Minister Hamdok and the people of Sudan, Farmaajo affirmed his country’s support and solidarity with its neighbor during these difficult times.
