President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo has defended his recent appointment of Federal Electoral Commissioners (FECs).
Farmaajo is under intense pressure from Somali leaders for his appointment of the commissioners.
He has been accused of appointing National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) officers as well as civil servants into the commission.
Politicians around the country, especially those from opposition parties, blame him for appointing partisan commissioners.
