President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo met with top Galmudug leadership immediately after arriving in Dhusamareb ahead of the fresh round of elections talks.
Farmaajo held a meeting with Galmudug State’s President Ahmed Abdi Karie Qoorqoor on February 1.
The Somali President had earlier arrived in Dhusamareb ahead of the meeting between Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) and Federal Member States (FMS) to resolve election stalemate.
Farmaajo commended Qoorqoor’s administration for holding the national conference at such short notice.
President Farmaajo arrived in Dhusamareb with some of the senior members of his administration, including Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble.
