Mogadishu, Somalia – The Ministry of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation has started a Strategic Communications Training program, uniting communications and media staff from the Ministry, the Somali National Army, and allied organizations.
Director General Aidarus Moallim Hassan officially inaugurated the program, praising the commitment of the Ministry’s Communication and Public Engagement Department. He stressed that the department’s efforts are essential for clearly and precisely conveying the ministry’s activities to the Somali public, to whom it is accountable.
The Ministry of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation stays dedicated to improving transparent, accountable, and efficient communication with the people of Somalia.
At the Strategic Communications Training launch, Abdiaziz Ahmed Gurbiye, Director of Communications and Public Engagement, spoke to the participants.
He stressed the value of professional, unified messaging across government entities, explaining that strong communication is key to fostering public trust, combating misinformation, and advancing the ministry’s core responsibilities.
