The Federal Elections Implementation Team (FEIT) issued certificates to 44 members of the House of the People (Lower House) and Senate (Upper House).
FEIT issued the certificates on Saturday, April 2 in Mogadishu.
A few days ago, the electoral body had published the list of legislators elected to join the federal parliament in Mogadishu.
Its list featured 245 Members of Parliament (MPs) at the Lower House and the Upper House’s 54 Senators.
The new MPs and Senators are preparing for their swearing-in ceremony on April 14.
