The Federal Elections Implementation Team (FEIT) has registered 131 newly elected Members of Parliament (MPs) and Senators in Mogadishu.
FEIT has been issuing registration certificates to the newly elected House of the People (Lower House) and Senate (Upper House) parliamentarians since Saturday.
Thus far, it has registered 131 newly elected federal parliamentarians in the first three days of the exercise.
The elections body has 54 Senators and around 250 MPs to register.
It has until April 14, when the new parliamentarians would take their oaths of office, to conclude the exercise.
The registration exercise continues in Mogadishu.
