FESOJ and UNESCO Agree to Improve Journalism in Somalia

The Federation of Somali Journalists (FESOJ) agreed to work closely with the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) to improve journalism in the country.

This follows discussions between Farah Omar and Mark Wall.

Omar is the FESOJ Secretary-General while Wall is the Head of UNESCO in Somalia.

They had their meeting on Wednesday.

The FESOJ Secretary-General commended UNESCO for the support it has accorded Somali journalists over the years, especially on issues pertaining to training.
