The Federation of Somali Journalists (FESOJ) has condemned the latest arrest of an independent journalist.
The journalist, Ali Fahad Jama, was arrested for a post he published on Facebook on Saturday.
FESOJ has advised the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) to release Jama from detention immediately so that he can resume his duties.
Jama works with SAAB TV, which is a local news TV station.
