A few parts of Somalia will experience an unusually wet period between April and June.
The Climate Prediction and Applications Center of the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (ICPAC) said this in its latest report.
ICPAC added that it expects similar rainfall patterns in the neighboring nations.
Some of the neighboring nations expected to experience similar rainfall patterns include South Sudan, northern Ethiopia, and several areas in Eritrea.
Localized areas in Kenya and Tanzania will also be quite wet in the same period.
