Somalia is yet to hold elections for 53 House of the People (Lower House) seats even as the March 15 deadline draws near.
With three days to go, Somalia has elected 222 Members of Parliament (MPs) to the Lower House in Mogadishu.
Several regions are yet to conclude their polls.
Initially, the East African nation was to hold the polls by February 25.
However, a National Consultative Council (NCC) conference early this year agreed to push the deadline to March 15.
