The federal Minister of Finance held a meeting with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) officials on Tuesday.
Their meeting focused on the progress of the debt relief measures that Somalia has put into effect.
Bihi Egeh spoke with the IMF team on the efforts by the government.
Somalia has implemented a raft of economic reforms over the last few years aimed at reducing debt.
Egeh briefed the IMF representatives on his ministry’s priorities.
He reassured the IMF personnel of his ministry’s commitment to the development of the financial sector in Somalia.
