Ambassador Pirkka Tapiola visited the Somali President to discuss wide-ranging issues affecting their respective countries.
During the September 7 meeting, President Mohamud and the Finnish Ambassador delved deeply into discussions touching on the ongoing fight against international terrorism.
Furthermore, President Mohamud reassured Ambassador Tapiola that his government remains committed to the security and economic reforms.
Ambassador Tapiola restated Finland’s continued role as one of the strongest allies of the East African nation.
