Government representatives from Finland visited Somaliland on October 27 and reiterated their commitment to supporting healthcare reforms in the East African nation.
Omar Ali, the Minister of Health Development, welcomed the representatives from Finland to his office on Tuesday.
Several officers from the health ministry accompanied him to the meeting with the Finnish representatives.
Ali expressed delight at the commitment by Finland to support and invest in Somaliland’s ongoing healthcare priorities.
Further, Ali said, “We look forward to increasing our collaborations with Finland to strengthen health services in the country.”
Finland has also pledged to support Somaliland’s dream of training and hiring human resource of the highest quality.
