Ahmed Mohamed Fiqi held talks on Somalia’s sovereignty with leaders from the Awdal region.
The Awdal delegation visited Fiqi, the Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs, and Reconciliation, on Monday.
Leaders, who included Senators and Members of Parliament (MPs) from Awdal, discussed Somalia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity with the minister.
They discussed a unified response to the problems created by Ethiopia and Somaliland.
Ethiopia signed what has become a controversial agreement with Somaliland on January 1, 2024.
