Ahmed Fiqi has called upon elders from Awdal to support the Somali government in the ongoing row with Ethiopia.
Traditional elders from the northern Somalia region attended a meeting with Fiqi, the Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs, and Reconciliation on Tuesday.
The elders reassured Fiqi that they would not stop supporting the government’s commitment to protect the sovereignty and unity of Somalia.
