Five civilians were killed as African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) soldiers opened fire in Mogadishu after their convoy was rocked by a landmine.
On Monday morning, a convoy of AMISOM cars was the target of an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in northern Mogadishu.
The incident took place on December 14 along Fagah Junction.
Apart from the dead, nine other civilians were injured and rushed to hospital.
Reports show that AMISOM soldiers opened fire indiscriminately on the people near the scene of the morning explosion.
