Five Injured as Fire Destroys a Mogadishu Building

Five people were injured on Saturday when fire destroyed a building in Mogadishu.

According to eyewitnesses, the fire broke out on June 25 in the afternoon. Fortunately, nobody was injured.

Flames quickly spread to the rest of the building from one house.

Witnesses said that the fire started in a paint store in the two-storied building in Somalia’s national capital city.

The injured were quickly rushed to the nearby hospitals for treatment.

Residents joined hands with authorities to put out the fire before it could cause further damage and possible fatalities.
