Five people were injured in an explosion that blasted through Jowhar town on Sunday morning.
According to witnesses and reports from security agents, the explosion took place just outside Nur Doob Hotel in Jowhar town on August 7.
Jowhar is the administrative capital of the regional state of HirShabelle.
Reports indicate that an explosive device had been attached to a vehicle, which security forces had been tracking in the last few days.
At the moment, there are no reports of any casualties.
No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the shocking incident.
