Five People Injured in IED Blast in Southwest Somalia

Five people were reportedly injured when an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blasted through a busy street in Southwest State in Somalia.

Reports from the region indicate that the device exploded outside a busy teashop located in Dinsor town, Bay area.

A woman and a few soldiers were among the people injured in the January 27 explosion.

Southwest State, just like the rest of the country, has been experiencing a rise in terror attacks over the last few months.
