Floods and drought have displaced more than 1 million people in Somalia in 2022.
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) issued these latest numbers on Friday, November 11.
IOM Somalia issued a statement showing the number of people left displaced since the start of the year.
In the statement, IOM says that over 1 million people fled from their homes when floods and drought got worse.
Those displaced are from different parts of the country.
IOM said that severe drought forced over a million people to move.
Many of those who left their homes ended up at camps for internally displaced persons (IDPs) around the country.
