Floods Destroy Baidoa IDP Camps

Floods left internally displaced persons (IDPs) camps in Baidoa completely ruined.

Baidoa, the administrative capital of the regional state of Southwest, received heavier-than-normal rains on Thursday night.

The rains caused floods that lasted the entire night all the way to the following day.

The floods then swept through much of the city’s streets before finding their way to the IDP camps where they also left a trail of destruction behind.

IDPs lost their personal stuff in the floods.
