Floods have destroyed farms and livestock completely ruined in Lower Shabelle.
Reports from the region indicate that Wanlaweyn district experienced the brunt of the floods that took place on Wednesday.
The floods started in Middle Shabelle before finding their way to Wanlaweyn.
According to local authorities, hundreds of dozens had to flee from their Wanlaweyn homes to safer grounds when the floodwaters arrived.
