Floods have devastated Jowhar after River Shabelle’s banks burst on Saturday.
Multiple villages are currently submerged in floods.
Farmers in over 72 villages are left counting their losses after the floods destroyed crops.
Osman Mohamed Mukhtar, the Jowhar District Commissioner, appealed for assistance from humanitarian agencies.
