Ministers of Foreign Affairs from Somalia and Ethiopia have discussed ways of improving bilateral relations between their respective nations.
Ali Omar from Somalia and Demeke Mekonnen Hassen held the discussions on September 13.
Omar is the State Minister in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
Hassen is the Deputy Prime Minister of Ethiopia and his country’s Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The two held their meeting in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia where Omar is currently on an official visit and meeting.
Omar said that the meeting enabled them to discuss improved relations in security, the economy, and other fields of mutual interest.
