Abdinur Mohamed, the immediate former Director of Communications of the Presidency, has been appointed the new Deputy Chief of Staff.
Mohamed assumed his new office on Monday this week.
While taking the oath of office, Mohamed expressed gratitude at his appointment.
“I’m honored to embark on this new chapter of serving my nation as the Deputy Chief of Staff at the Office of the President,” Mohamed said.
Meanwhile, Abdirashid M. Hashi takes over Mohamed’s former role.
Hashi was announced as the new Director of Communications of the Presidency in an acting capacity pending full confirmation.
He has already assumed his new role at Villa Somalia.
