A former Governor of Hiiran lost his life on January 22 when he was shot dead in Mogadishu.
A report by sources from the Somali Police Force (SPF) shows that unknown people shot and killed Abdirahman Ibrahim Ma’ow on Saturday night.
The incident took place in Mogadishu’s Wadajir district.
At the time of the incident, ex-Governor Ma’ow was leaving a local mosque where he had gone to for prayers.
Police officers have launched investigations into the shocking murder.
