Ex-Prime Minister Hassan Ali Khaire has mourned the death of one of Somalia’s most prominent businessmen and philanthropist.
Badri Hayle Abdi Barise reportedly died on March 2.
Khaire confirmed Barise’s death on Tuesday evening.
He described this latest death as a “painful” one for the people of Somalia.
The former Prime Minister sent his message of condolences to the family and friends of the late Barise.
He also condoled with the business community, which has lost one of its most erstwhile members.
