Hassan Ali Khaire, an ex-Prime Minister of Somalia, paid President Ismail Omar Guelleh of Djibouti a courtesy call.
Reports from Djibouti indicate that the two leaders held a closed-door meeting at the Office of the President on Monday afternoon.
The meeting takes place a few weeks after Khaire announced that he would be vying for the upcoming presidential elections in Somalia.
Nevertheless, the issues that Khaire and President Guelleh addressed during their meeting remain unclear.
