Mustafe Farah Dhore, a former minister in Somaliland, has died.
He died in Borama yesterday. Dhore served as the Minister of Telecommunications in the government of President Ahmed Mohamed Mohamoud alias Silanyo.
President Silanyo’s reign lasted between 2010 and 2017.
Somaliland’s current president, Muse Bihi Abdi, conveyed his message of condolence to Dhore’s family and friends.
An official statement released from President Bihi’s office said the country had lost a leader who contributed massively to the rebuilding of Somaliland.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health has denied rumors circulating around that Dhore died of COVID-19.
