The four-day conference organized by the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) and Somali National Army (SNA) ended in Mogadishu.
Thursday, March 17 was the last day of the conference.
Senior military commanders from AMISOM and SNA attended the conference, which kicked off on Monday.
They met to discuss modalities ahead of the impending transition.
AMISOM is scheduled to transition to African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) from April 1, 2022.
The conference also attracted participants from the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) and the United Nations Support Office in Somalia (UNSOS).
Others at the conference were also from UN Mine Action Service (UNMAS) and the United Kingdom Mission Support Team.
