The French Ambassador to Kenya visited President Muse Bihi Abdi of Somaliland.
Ambassador Aline Kuster-Menager visited President Bihi at the Presidential Palace in Hargeisa on June 23.
The French diplomat has been in Hargeisa on an official visit.
Ambassador Kuster-Menager visited the Somaliland leader with a delegation of French officials.
Their discussions centered on several issues. These included improving bilateral ties between France and Somaliland.
Apart from this, they discussed the upcoming elections in Somaliland.
The stalled talks between Somaliland and Somalia also featured prominently in the talks between President Bihi and Ambassador Kuster-Menager.
