The leader of the regional state of Galmudug has arrived in Mogadishu ahead of the meeting between the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) and Federal Member States (FMS).
The FGS-FMS meeting kicks off on Monday, September 12 in the national capital.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud will chair the meeting and the ensuing discussions to improve relations between the federal and regional governments.
Galmudug’s President Ahmed Abdi Karie Qoorqoor was the latest to arrive in Mogadishu.
President Ahmed Madobe and President Ali Gudlawe of Jubbaland and HirShabelle respectively were the first to arrive earlier in the day.
