President Ahmed Abdi Karie Qoorqoor of Galmudug held talks with Mehmet Yilmaz, the Turkish Ambassador to Somalia.
Ambassador Yilmaz expressed his gratitude at the opportunity he had to meet Qoorqoor.
One of the issues that Yilmaz and Qoorqoor discussed was the ongoing parliamentary elections in the region.
The destructive drought that has caused starvation in not only the country but also the entire nation also featured in their discussions.
