Reports from Mogadishu indicate that President Ahmed Abdi Kariye Qoorqoor of Galmudug was scheduled to address Somalia’s Upper House on Tuesday.
Qoorqoor, who is in the nation’s capital for talks between Federal Government of Somalia and Federal Member States, would be addressing the Senate on elections.
He continues a trend that has been taking place in the last few days.
Two other regional leaders have appeared before the Upper House to address the country’s Senators on elections-related issues.
President Said Abdullahi Deni of Puntland and President Ahmed Islam Madobe of Jubbaland already made their presentations to the Senators.
