On Monday, President Ahmed Abdi Karie Qoorqoor of the Galmudug region state visited the headquarters of the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA) in Mogadishu.
During his visit, he conferred with SoDMA Commissioner Mahamuud Moalim on critical issues including the severe drought affecting Somalia, the ongoing battle against Al-Shabaab militants, and the reduction in humanitarian aid.
President Qoorqoor commended SoDMA for its steadfast dedication to disaster management amid these challenges.
