The regional state of Galmudug is providing water trucking services to drought-affected residents.
Local authorities deployed water trucks to different parts of the region to provide residents with access to clean and safe water.
Galmudug’s Ministry of Water and Energy was in charge of this project on March 17.
It worked closely with Dahabshil Foundation, which supported the local authorities to provide water to residents in these trying times.
The regional state, just as is the case in other parts of the country, is struggling with a hitherto unimaginable drought and dire humanitarian situation.
