Germany has pledged to support Somalia’s sustainable and inclusive economy with a contribution of €29 million.
The European nation has pledged the funds to support the East African country’s green sectors.
Some of the sectors that German would invest in include agriculture and livestock.
Other areas of the economy that are set to benefit from the funds include land and water management.
Germany mentioned the sustainable economy in Somalia as its new areas of priority.
With the injection of €29 million, the Horn of Africa nation is now set to experience a boost in decent jobs, nutrition, and food security.
