The head of Halo Trust’s Horn of Africa office visited Somaliland over the weekend.
Ralph Legg had the opportunity to hold talks with senior Somaliland government officials including Shukri Haji Ismail Bandare.
The former, who is the Minister of Environment and Climate Change, hosted Legg in her office.
They discussed the different ways in which Halo Trust could partner with Somaliland in areas such as environmental protection.
Over the years, Halo Trust has undertaken a number of projects in Somaliland.
Thus far, the largest project it carried out in the country was the removal of explosive ordnances.
