Hargeisa’s international airport confirmed that it received a flight from Ethiopia on Wednesday.
According to Egal International Airport, an Ethiopian Airlines flight landed at the facility at around 12pm local time.
The plane’s arrival is interesting considering earlier reports.
Earlier, there were reports that Somalia turned a flight from Ethiopia back after it sought to use its airspace to access the airport in Hargeisa.
Somali Civil Aviation Authority (SCAA) also confirmed turning back the Ethiopian flight.
According to Egal, flight 372-373 from Ethiopian Airlines carried normal passengers.
